Ye Jianjun Visits Xinjiang for Research and Extends Greetings to The Extreme Heat-Extreme Cold-High Altitude Test Teams

From July 21 to 25, Ye Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Chairman of the Labor Union of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited Xinjiang for research and inspection. During the visit, he held discussions with the Shandong Provincial Aid Xinjiang Command, visited major clients of the Group in Xinjiang, hosted a regional business round-table, and traveled to Turpan to extend sincere greetings to the team conducting high-temperature tests, delivering supplies for heat relief.

At the Shandong Provincial Command for Aid to Xinjiang, Yuan Liang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the Aid Xinjiang Command and Deputy Secretary of the Kashi Prefecture Committee, warmly welcomed Mr.Ye and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on aid projects and strategic cooperation. Mr.Ye emphasized that providing assistance to Xinjiang is a significant political task, and state-owned enterprises must take it as their unshirkable responsibility. Kashi, as a gateway for China's westward opening-up and a core hub of the Belt and Road Initiative, enjoys exceptional geographical advantages. As a leading provincial state-owned enterprise in equipment manufacturing industry, Shandong Heavy Industry Group will further evaluate its business layout in Xinjiang and actively leverage the preferential policies of the Xinjiang Free Trade Zone to contribute to the implementation of aid projects.

In Ürümqi, Mr.Ye presided over a business symposium with the Group’s subsidiaries operating in Xinjiang. He stressed the need for enhanced coordination among local teams and urged all units to make every effort to achieve the Group’s annual objectives.

In Turpan, Mr.Ye visited the Extreme Heat-Extreme Cold-High Altitude test team, extending gratitude on behalf of the Group’s Party Committee. He reminded them to take precautions against the heat, ensure the safety of personnel and equipment, and successfully complete the high-temperature tests. The test data, he noted, would provide crucial technical support for developing more competitive products across the Group’s business segments.

During the research trip, Mr.Ye and his delegation also visited strategic clients such as Yingjisha County in Kashi and Xinjiang Bashi International Travel Agency Co., Ltd., holding in-depth discussions on expanding product applications and strengthening coordinated sales.

Leaders from the Group’s labor union and relevant departments of its subsidiaries participated in the research and outreach activities.
