Focusing closely on front-line needs, Sinotruk provided “cooling care packages,” set up cooling supply stations, organized free medical check-ups, and launched a special online course on “Summer Cooling & Safety.” By scientifically optimizing work schedules and taking practical actions, the company ensured front-line employees could stay cool and safe under a “protective umbrella.”
Weichai Group
With practical measures and concrete actions, Weichai established a “One Point, Three Dimensions” service mechanism. Each workshop team set up a “heat prevention service point.” For sales staff, the “Work & Wellness” campaign was launched, ensuring ample supply of cold beverages, uniform laundry services, and dedicated health monitoring — providing all-round protection for a cool and safe summer.
Shantui
Shantui boosted morale and strengthened safety by equipping production lines with medical kits containing iodine, bandages, and emergency medicine such as quick-acting heart pills. The company increased the frequency and quantity of cooling food distribution, enhanced on-site safety patrols, and adjusted workloads during peak heat periods. These efforts have built a harmonious landscape of “enterprises caring for employees, employees driving development.”
Weichai Lovol Intelligent Agriculture
The company distributed over 6,000 kg of watermelon, 500 packs of tea, and 770 cases of beverages, while establishing 38 mung bean soup stations and 20 cooling rooms. Emergency response was reinforced with AEDs and first-aid kits, alongside organizing training sessions attended by more than 4,600 employees. The innovative “Mini-Day Shift” work model optimized operating hours, with cooling supplies delivered daily. Launching a “Cool Relief Battle,” Zhongtong placed large ice blocks in every workshop, delivered green tea, ice cream, herbal cooling medicine, and nutritional supplements to workers, and allocated more than RMB 700,000 worth of heat-relief materials, including over RMB 300,000 in ready-to-eat nutrition packs. More than ten “Cool Relief” events were organized, transforming employee well-being into greater productivity and momentum.
